Beer Holidays in October 2025

Beer Blog Holiday

Oh my gourd, it’s October! Time for Pumpkin Spice Lattes, Spooky Season, and these four beer holidays in October 2025.

Barrel-Aged Beer Day - Friday, October 3, 2025

Founded in 2013 by the brains behind The Bruery (yes, that one), Barrel Aged Beer Day celebrates barrel-aged beers, and honors the talented brewers behind them. Why October? Because early autumn is the ideal season to enjoy that delicious warming feeling provided by barrel aged beer. Celebrate this beer holiday in October by indulging in a barrel-aged beer, and maybe even sending a quick note to the brewer letting them know how much you enjoyed it. An artist always likes to hear their work is appreciated.

Beer and Pizza Day - Thursday, October 9, 2025

This beer holiday in October is proof that one man’s love can make a difference. Website designer Nick Saulino’s love for pies and pints is so strong he thought that the combination deserved its own holiday. So, in 2016, he made it happen with International Pizza Day. On this October beer holiday, indulge in a pairing or two of pizza and beer.

National Black Brewer’s Day - Friday, October 10, 2025

Dedicated to honoring and appreciating the talents and contributions of black brewers in the craft beer industry, National Black Brewer’s Day is held annually on the tenth day of October. But why October 10th? 55 years ago, on October 10th, 1970, there was a party celebrating the purchase of Peoples Brewing Company. While purchasing a brewery is always a cause of celebration, this purchase was of particular significance: when Mr. Theodore A. Mack Sr. and his business associates purchased the Wisconsin brewery, it became the first Black owned brewery, and Mack became the first Black brewery president in the United States.

Celebrate this annual beer holiday in October by enjoying some beer from a Black-owned brewery. The National Black Brewers Association has a directory that makes it easy to find one near you!

National American Beer Day - Monday, October 27, 2025

Beer in the United States can be traced back to before the Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776. National American Beer Day celebrates the history of beer in America, and the contributions that America has made to beer and brewing. Due to the varied climates and soils across the country, different strains of hops were used and developed, including earlier varieties such as Willamette Hops, and more recent strains, such as Amarillo Hops. In addition to new strains of hops, American brewers also developed new styles of beer; they are responsible for the American Pale Ale, American India Pale Ale, Amber Ale, Cream Ale, and Cascading Dark Ale styles.

Celebrate this beer holiday in October by enjoying an American style beer brewed with American developed hops.

Which one of these beer holidays in October 2025 will you be celebrating?
