It may only be August, but we are ready to kick off some Octoberfest activities. If, like us, you aren’t particularly patient and don’t want to wait, we have some good news: you don’t have to wait much longer!
On Saturday, September 21st, we will be at the 7th annual Lagers in Lawrence Oktoberfest, and we’d love it of you joined us. In addition to fabulous artisans (like us), there will be live music, lots of Lagers, and even Weiner Dog Racing!

What is Lagers in Lawrence Oktoberfest?
Lagers in Lawrence Oktoberfest is an Oktoberfest-style beer festival. And not just any beer fest, Lagers in Lawrence is one of Indiana’s most premier and largest Oktoberfest celebrations! Think live music, hundreds of beers to sample, plenty of pretzels, dachshund racing, and even a “Masskrugstemmen” (aka stein-holding) competition.
Where is the 2024 Lagers in Lawrence Beer Festival?
The 2024 Lagers in Lawrence will be held at the Fort Ben Cultural Campus. Composed of a vibrant network including a Theater, Visual Arts Center, Musical Swings, and even their very own VR augmented reality mobile app, Fort Ben Cultural Center aims to bring vibrancy and creativity to the lives of as many people as possible.
How much are tickets to Lagers in Lawrence?
There are two tiers of Lagers in Lawrence Oktoberfest tickets: General Admission and VIP. For the next week only, Early Bird Tickets are available for $42 for VIP admission, or $37 for General Admission admission to Lagers in Lawrence. Between August 21st and September 21st, VIP tickets to Lagers in Lawrence are $45, and General Admission tickets are $40. If you’d rather wait until the day of this Indiana Oktoberfest to purchase your tickets, any remaining tickets will be available at the gate for $50 for VIP admission, or $45 for General Admission.
While unlimited samples are available for all attendees, VIP ticket holders will be able to enter this Indiana beer festival at 2 pm, while General Admission ticket holders will enter at 3 pm.
Not a drinker? Not a problem! Designated Driver tickets will be available for purchase for $20 at the gate and, as we all know, the DD is the REAL VIP of the day, so they can enter the event at any time.

What time is Lagers in Lawrence?
The 2024 Lagers in Lawrence Oktoberfest will begin at 2 pm for VIP ticket holders, 3 pm for GA ticket holders, and will end at 6 pm for all attendees.
What if it rains?
Just like other Indiana On Tap events, Lagers in Lawrence Oktoberfest is a rain or shine event. However, extreme and/or potentially dangerous weather could lead to cancellation for the safety of yourself and others.
Will there be food at Lagers in Lawrence Oktoberfest?
What’s an Oktoberfest without pretzels? In addition to plenty of pretzels, there will be multiple food truck vendors with delicious options for you to choose from.
Can I bring my child to Lagers in Lawrence?
All attendees of the Lagers in Lawrence Indiana beer festival must be at least 21 years old. This includes children, infants, and Designated Driver ticket holders.
Can I bring my dog to Lagers in Lawrence?
Well-behaved pups are welcome; if you have a dachshund, make sure to register them for the “Running of the Weiners” for their chance to be named Fastest Weiner!
