What is Winterfest?

Indy Winterfest is an nonprofit beer festival fundraiser. For the last 16 years, the Indiana Brewers Guild has brought together Hoosier breweries and beer lovers to celebrate and enjoy Indiana craft beer during the chilly midwest winter. 

Where is Winterfest 2026?

Winterfest 2026 is being held at the Indiana State Fairgrounds West Pavilion, located at 1202 East 38th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46205. 

What breweries will be pouring at Winterfest 2026?

More than 75 Indiana breweries will be pouring unlimited samples at the 2026 Winter Fest Beer Festival, including several of our favorites including 450 North Brewing Co., Bad Dad Brewing Co., Daredevil Brewing Co., Pax Verum, Sun King Brewery, Taxman Brewing Co., and Upland Brewing Co. How much are Winterfest 2026 tickets?

There are four types of 2026 Winterfest Beer Festival tickets: VIP Tickets, Early Entry Tickets, General Admission Tickets, and Designated Driver tickets. 

Designated Driver Winterfest tickets are $15 online in advance or $20 at the door, and include entrance to Winterfest 2026 beginning at 1 pm, unlimited water, unlimited soda, and limited samples of non-alcoholic beverages from participating vendors. 

General Admission Winterfest tickets are $50 online in advance or $60 at the door*, and include entrance to Winterfest beginning at 2 pm, a taster glass, and unlimited 3 oz pours of local craft beer, cider, and cocktails from more than 75 Indiana breweries. 

Early Entry Winterfest tickets are $80 online in advance or $85 at the door*, and include everything from General Admission, as well as entrance to  Winterfest 2026 at 1 pm, and a limited edition Winterfest pint glass that is given as you exit the beer festival. 

VIP Winterfest tickets are $105 in advance or $115 at the door*, and include everything from Early Entry, as well as a limited-edition 2 pack of Drink Indiana Beer glassware, snack mix, dedicated entrance and restrooms, access to seating, and a Winterfest 2026 swag bag.

What time is the 2026 Winterfest Beer Festival?

Beer will be pouring from 1 pm through 6 pm at Winterfest 2026.

Where should I park at the Indiana State Fairgrounds?

Parking is available for Winterfest attendees at the Indiana State Fairgrounds for $10. If you choose to utilize a rideshare, pickup and drop off should occur through Gate 1 off of 38th Street.

What if it rains?

Neither snow nor rain, nor sleet, hail, or other wintry mix will stop the Winterfest Beer Fest. (Unless it is hazardous and potentially dangerous). Luckily Winterfest 2026 is indoors, so you only have to worry about staying dry on your way from the parking lot. 

Can I bring my pet to Indy Winterfest?

Pets are not permitted at Winterfest. Exceptions will be made for appropriately trained and behaved service animals. 

Are children allowed at Winterfest 2026?

All Winterfest attendees must be at least 21-years-old with a valid photo id. This includes Designated Drivers, infants, children, etc. No one under the age of 21 will be allowed to enter Indy Winterfest.

Does Indy Winterfest benefit an organization? 

The Winterfest Beer Festival supports the Indiana Brewers Guild, which is the nonprofit trade association responsible for representing craft breweries in Indiana. In addition, Winterfest 2026 organizers have partnered with Joy’s House, a not-for-profit adult day service, and will be donating a portion of the proceeds to supporting their mission. 

Is there anything else I should know about Indy Winterfest 2026?

Prebanding events are available, so if you don’t want to waste any time in long 2026 Winterfest entrance lines, consider getting prebanded at one of the events. 

Filled CamelBaks will not be allowed to enter Winterfest. Empty CamelBaks are welcome, and water filling stations and fountains will be available. 

Most of all, please remember that the Winterfest Beer Festival is about enjoying and celebrating Indiana beer, not about getting as drunk as you possibly can. Drink responsibly, and don’t drink and drive.
