When we first started Spunk’N’Disorderly Beer Soap, we had no idea we would make it to 100 craft beer soaps, much less 500. I’m not sure I would believe it myself, but I struggle a little bit with relinquishing control, and self-assigned myself to creating, filling out, and maintaining our Beer Soap Master List (TM) (jk), so I know it is true.
Before we get to the fun stuff, we want to take a minute to say thank you. Without your support, we wouldn’t be able to do what we love: help bathe the world in beer. You’ve been so patient with us as we navigate through growing pains, and have helped us acquire some truly fabulous brews.
So, let’s take a closer look at our first 500 beer soaps!
The First One: Raspberry AF
The beer soap that started it all! Our very first beer soap was made with Raspberry AF from Saint Arnold Brewing Company, topped with black sea salt, and smelled like a delicious raspberry ale. Our first batches were gifts for friends and family, and their feedback was so positive it launched 499 other beer soaps…so far!
The Best Seller: Hopadillo
Everything is bigger in Texas, and the love for beer soap is no exception. Our best-selling beer soap is our Hopadillo Beer Soap, made with Hopadillo IPA from Karbach Brewing Company. Not only are our Hopadillo beer soap batches the largest, we also make them the most often.
The Number of Breweries: 184
You didn’t think they were all from one brewery, did you? To make our 500 different beer soaps, we used beers from 184 craft breweries. That’s an average 2.7 beer soaps per brewery (but if we are being honest, we only have one beer soap for some breweries.)
The Heavy Hitter: 450 North Brewing Company
Clearly we are big fans of 450 North Brewing Company; so far, 55 different 450 North Brewing beer soaps have hit our website. That’s 11% of all of our beer soaps! And you know we always have some new options debut at the 450 North Corn Maze, so that number will definitely be increasing soon.
Once again, thank you from the bottom of our (fermented) hearts. Prost!
We would love to know: which of our first 500 beer soaps is your favorite? And which beer soap are you hoping we make next?
