What is the Houston Brew Festival?
Houston Brew Festival is a new beer festival in Houston. A brand new festival, actually. This is the inaugural year of what will (hopefully) become an annual event.
Where is Houston Brew Festival?
Houston Brew Festival is in Houston, Texas at Discovery Green. More specifically, the Houston Brew Festival will be taking place on the Jones Lawn, so you will get to experience and enjoy the beautiful green space with its stunning views of downtown Houston. If you have some extra time, consider taking a stroll along any (or all!) Of the promenades to discover and enjoy the beautifully maintained garden beds, fountains, as well as permanent and rotating art instillations.
What if it rains?
Then we drink in the rain! (Unless there is severe weather. Then we drink beer from the safety of our own homes.)
Who will be at the Houston Brew Festival?
For an inaugural event, the Houston Brew Festival has quite a line-up. More than 50 breweries will be at Houston Brew Festival, as well as various food trucks, and musical groups. Plus all of the festival-attending beer lovers!
What time is the Houston Brew Festival?
There are two entry times to Houston Brew Festival. Early admission begins at noon, and general admission is at 1 pm. The Houston beer festival ends at 4 pm.
How much is admission to Houston Brew Festival?
Early admission is $65, while the cost for Houston Brew Festival general admission is $50. In addition, non-drinking designated driver tickets will be sold at the gate for $20.
Will there be food at Houston Brew Festival?
Absolutely! There will be multiple food truck options at the Houston Brew Festival. If none of them strike your fancy, there are plenty of nearby restaurants within walking distance. (Plus if you’re still hungry for more beer, the Houston Flying Saucer Draught Emporium is about half a mile from Discovery Green).
Can I bring my child with me to Houston Brew Festival?
No one under the age of 21 years old will be permitted to enter the Houston Brew Festival. This includes children, toddlers, and infants.
Can I bring my dog to the Houston Brew Festival?
For the safety of both the animals and their humans, no pets are allowed at Houston Brew Festival.
Is there anything else I should know about the Houston Brew Festival?
The Houston Brew Festival bag policy is one clear bag (gallon Ziplock style or similar) no larger than 12”x12”x6”, and/or a small clutch no larger than 5”x9”x2”. Medically necessary bags will be inspected and screened before entry to the festival is permitted.
We also recommend that you bring cash for purchases such as designated driver admission, food truck snacks, parking, etc.
