Houston Art Car Parade Schedule and Beer Soap Release

Beer Soap Houston

According to our calendars, right now we should be gluing rhinestones to our faces. While this isn’t ENTIRELY out of the ordinary for us, this would be for a special occasion: Houston Art Car Parade Weekend!

As individuals who have both attended and participated in the Houston Art Car Parade, we look forward to parade weekend every year.

While the Houston Art Car Parade regularly draws more than 250,000 spectators to view more than 200 cars from across the world (mostly local, some from across the US, and even a few international applicants), the Houston Art Car Parade schedule typically begins on Thursday with some smaller events, and continues through Sunday.

However, due to the COVID-19 crisis, the 33rd Annual Houston Art Car Parade will be virtual. The schedule includes live-streamed tours of three of Houston’s quirky landmarks: The Orange Show, The Beer Can House, and Smither Park; footage of past Houston ArtCar Parades on ABC-13; and, on HTV, Art Car: The Movie as well as up-close and personal looks at art cars and interviews with artists.

We love bright color and beer, so we HAD to combine them into some Houston beer soap! Beer from Saint Arnold Brewing Company was an obvious choice, as they are a sponsor of the Houston Art Car Parade. The three beer soaps included in this release are all brewery by Saint Arnold Brewing and are Art Car Beer Soap, Double Art Car IPA Beer Soap, and Orange Show Beer Soap.

Art Car Beer Soap is made with ArtCar IPA and smells like citrus with notes of lily, verbena, and musk. Click here to shop.

Double Art Car IPA Beer Soap is made with Double Art Car IPA and smells like sage, lemon, and lime. Click here to shop.

Orange Show Beer Soap is made with Orange Show and smells like sweet orange. Click here to shop.
